Professional Biography <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phil is the founder of Telshire LLC.  Telshire LLC is a small consulting firm with a mission to assist primarily small life-science companies understand, strategize, articulate and implement their real estate and facility needs. He has over twenty-five years domestic and international management and consulting experience in life sciences, facilities, engineering, and professional services industries. Phil is known for timely delivery of complex, innovative and creative solutions in operations, facilities, real estate, engineering, construction and design management. Telshire clients include Massachusetts Institute of Technology, King Street Properties, Evelo Biosciences, Anchiano Therapeutics, Genocea Biosciences and others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phil helps clients manage projects by clearly articulating and defining the project scope to the team of architect, engineers, construction managers, and\/or landlord, and then either leads or supports the management and oversight of the project.  On recent projects Phil helped several life-science companies on needs assessment, site selection, project management, technical review and subject matter expertise.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, Phil was the Senior Director, Global Facilities for ARIAD Pharmaceuticals (acquired by Takeda) where in addition to leading ARIAD\u2019s facility expansion in Cambridge and Europe, he was responsible for real estate, design, construction, space planning, laboratory operations, facility management, furniture, security, and environmental health and safety (EH&S).   He also served as the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research (NIBR)\u2019s Global Head for Design and Engineering and the Head of Cambridge Real Estate, Engineering and Construction.  Phil established NIBR\u2019s presence in Cambridge by acquiring over one million square feet of laboratory and office space.  Prior to Novartis, Phil was a Principal Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and was a project manager and design engineer with several engineering firms.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phil is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York State and holds\u00a0an MBA\u00a0from the Yale School of Management,\u00a0an\u00a0MSE\u00a0from the University of Texas at Austin and\u00a0a\u00a0BS\u00a0from the Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
